对于采用环氧乙烷灭菌的一次性医疗器械,环氧乙烷(EO)残留量检测是必须的检测项目。许多物品对EO具有很强的吸附性,灭菌后会残留EO气体在灭菌物品上。EO气体是一种神经系统抑制剂和原浆毒,人体可通过呼吸道、腹性吸入和皮肤吸收,过度接触可引起呼吸道刺激,致头昏、虚弱。而环氧乙烷的化学性质十分活泼,容易和氯离子反应生成2-氯乙醇(2-Chloroethanol,ECH)。
滕州市浩瀚色谱仪器技术服务有限公司采用GC气相色谱法同时测定一次性医疗器械产品中的环氧乙烷和2-氯乙醇的残留量,环氧乙烷的加标回收率为93.1%~97.5%,检出限(3S/D)为0.1μg/g;氯乙醇的加标回收率为93.2%~99.3%,检出限(3S/D)为0.05 mg/L。

The chemical nature of ethylene oxide is very active, and it easily reacts with chloride ions to produce 2-Chloroethanol (ECH).
